The Origins of the Raise the Roof Campaign

St Michael’s, Blundellsands launched its Raise the Roof Appeal in 2024 to replace the roof after water ingress had caused severe damage. Church and community came together to support a series of fund raising events which saw the roof replacement completed in 2025. Fundraising efforts are still ongoing to repair the considerable water damage that occured inside the building and to the electrics.
